Round Robin #7 TT report

Another cracking night at Wolvey saw 58 (58!)  riders sign on for the penultimate TT in the 2025 Round Robin series.

Strong cross winds challenged the riders,  with the consensus being that it was a tougher night than a fortnight ago.

Despite strong competition from Wardy’s seat post malfunction, and Colin Parkinson’s shoe delamination, it was super cool Richard Harrison’s perfectly timed glide up to the line for a perfect rolling start that was the highlight of the night for your humble correspondent!

Fastest ride of the night was David Mead (Team Enable MI Racing) with a barnstorming 20:09, followed by Speedhub’s Carl Shaw with 21:10 and Ashby ICC’s Tommy Nolan at 21:22. Fastest woman was Lydia Baxter with 26:16 on a RB.

James Moore was the fastest WVCC rider with 22:22, followed by Jonathan Durnin and Jason Williams (on a RB).

Thanks to the Team at Hinckley CRC for a cracking event and a warm welcome.  Click here for some super pictures from Alan Kitching.

Please note that Mike Ives’ padawan has made a bit of a dog’s breakfast of the standings this week, and therefore a few corrections are required, which will happen at the weekend.
