Now the dust has settled on the Medbourne Hillys, the TT team is planning for the next tip top testing TT on Tuesday 15th April, and we are swapping the formaf of 5+5 to the 5 mile ‘Dash’.
We’ve realised there is not enough light yet to run the 5+5 in both directions and do the turnaround at Hallaton, so on Tuesday the first rider will be off at 6:30 from just outside Hallaton for the ‘Dash’ back to Tur Langton. 1 minute intervals, make sure you leave enough time to get from HQ to the start.
So, to be clear, the 5 mile dash will be on Tuesday 15th April, and the 5+5 will be on Tuesday 6th May. Same HQ, same course and same start time.
Online entry for ‘The Dash’ closes Sunday 6pm (yes you can sign on at HQ, but the TT team prefer SUG to plan the event efficiently).

What else do you need to know?
- It’s going to be fun!
- A very quiet rural course, ideal for beginners because the hard finish (in either direction) makes pace judgment vital.
- To note in your recce: Wind direction really affects this course – it can be brutal if against you and strong cross-winds can affect the fast descent at the start.https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/327283654
