Christmas and our Boxing Day time trial are approaching fast . If you haven’t yet given this a go, perhaps this is the year you give it a whirl. It’s a 10 mile time trial, and it’s also a very jovial and friendly occasion with folk turning up in fancy dress, other decorating their bikes and yet others riding all types of distinctly slowish bikes. Of course, you could do all three or simply ride as normal.
Refreshments are served (at no extra charge) and it’s lovely to get out of the house and enjoy a bit of exercise.
The ride starts and finishes at the Community Hall in Church Langton. The course is our Langton route and the event will cost you £5 (please pay by card). First rider off at 10 am.
Even if you don’t want to ride, it’s still great to get out there, support others, and enjoy the company. You can do this by helping to marshal the course. A few more marshals are needed and you can sign up here: Welland Valley Cycling Club: Marshalling Rota 2024
