These two trophies are awarded annually to the club members who have ridden the furthest in non-competitive, organised events; ie in reliability rides, sportives and audaxes. Club runs don’t count, but events organised by WVCC count double.
The trophies were hotly contended last year and it appears that they will be again this year. If you rode the reliability ride at the end of January you are off to a good start so make sure you get your mileage recorded and send it at least monthly to Rhys Thomas at rhys@wellandvalleycc.co.uk. In a spirit of competition we are considering publishing a league table every once in a while so you can see how many miles the top performers have completed.
