We will be preparing and setting the course at Marston lodge for round 1 of the Leicestershire Cyclocross League on the next two Saturday mornings from 8.30am. If you haven’t yet done your volunteering slot this is a good opportunity, but even if you have it’s a great chance to spend some time in a spectacular setting that wouldn’t be out of place in the Lake District and to see the giant redwoods, some fantastic racing and maybe even some of our wonderful birds of prey who call the woods home.

If you’re racing in one of the men’s races in the afternoon, the timetable incorporating a separate women’s race also enables you to volunteer in the morning – and maybe any women competing could marshal for the men’s races afterwards.
We also expect any club members who are racing in the afternoon to stick around and help dismantle the course afterwards if they’re able to. The more people who pile in the quicker this is.
