The Rugby Flyer Event

On Sunday 17th September 2023 at 09.00 on the K10 / 25B
A road bike event to celebrate the achievement of Ralph Dougherty.
Ralph Dougherty was known as ‘The Rugby Flyer’ and in 1939 became the first person to finish a 25 mile time trial in under the hour, finishing in a time of 59 mins 29 seconds.

Challenge yourself to go under the hour on a road bike!!
Everyone who finishes in under the hour will get a medal!
Awards: Winner to be presented with the ‘Rugby Flyer Trophy’ (for one year)
