All the top slots were taken by the same riders at last night’s TT as a fortnight ago, but some great rides and PBs were the real story.
Cross winds faced the 45 club members and guests who contested Round 12 of the 2023 Club Championship.
Fastest again was the rapidly speedy Hans ‘beep beep’ Van Nierop, stopping the clock at 21:41 for the win followed closely by Gary Roberts in second at 21:50 and Jonathan Durnin in third at 22:15.
Fastest woman was Milly Pinnock (26:50), and fastest on a road bike was Rhys Thomas (23:17).
There were many PBs and course PBs, special mention to Club chair Judith Rout (28:49, first time under 30 minutes) Doug (e) Tincello going under (23:57) and Sophie Ward (knocking lumps off her PB with 31:08).
Fastest guest was Bernard Galea with 21:23.
