35 riders took to the start line for Tuesday’s 11th round of the Club TT Championship on the Kibworth 10. It was a super-hot evening, and all the talk at the HQ was of the potential for a fast night.
The ‘outleg’, which was anticipated to be into a cross headwind, was surprising quick, and from the turn riders enjoyed a cross tail return.
Fastest was super speedy Hans ‘wham bam’ Van Nierop, stopping the clock at 21:3,8 followed by Gary Roberts in second at 21:45 and Jonathan Durnin in third at 22:07.
Fastest woman was Milly Pinnock (26:12), and fastest on a road bike was Rhys Thomas (23:22).
There were many PBs and course PBs, with a special mention to juvenile Jamie Kershaw with 23:30 and Debbie Ward, went under 30 minutes for the first time with 29:57.
