Good evening, we had a glorious end to the Whizz Kids competitive racing for 2022 with the final round of the Whizz Kids Racing League supported by Alden Electrical this afternoon at Bruntingthorpe. Held under blue skies and a warming 14 degrees with only a hint of southeasterly breeze conditions were perfect for an afternoon of age-group racing on the go-kart track. Each group had four races, A short blast, a medium race, a revisit of the rollercoaster freewheel challenge before a final elimination race and with long shadows forming we realised we had gone slightly over our usual time.
Thanks today to Simon, Ali, Ian and Jade and to Fabia, Kate and Zoe from Cox Automotive for making sure everything was in order.

I think it’s fair to say we finished the season in style. We’ll keep a check on the weather and will make a call on the location for the next session in two weeks time.
