Sign up for the AA Brown Circuit Race on Sunday, June 26 (2pm). This is now a WVCC club race with age group categories. It’s the ideal event for anyone who rides the Thursday night chain gang; took part in last year’s team race nights; or just right wants to put a toe in the water of circuit racing in a traffic-free environment.
Age group categories guarantee competitive racing – whether you’re an experienced rider or a have-a-go newbie.
Most importantly, it is now just £5 to enter! Bargain.
You’ll need a TLI licence to take part, which you can get here (https://www.tlicycling.com/membership/) (and you’ll need one anyway for the race night series in July and August); and then go straight to RiderHQ to book your place on the start line (https://www.riderhq.com/events/p/yydgkkhb/f/aa-brown-circuit-race-at-bruntingthorpe).
Sign up for our 10 mile Airfield Time Trial on Sunday, June 26 (11.45pm).
It’s three fast laps round a flat(ish) circuit with no cars, lorries, horses or roadworks to worry about.
It’s being run under CTT rules, so you won’t need a TLI licence for this one. Again, £5 to enter, bargain.

Riding the TT will also be the perfect warm-up for the AA Brown Road Race which follows. Now there’s a challenge!
