Whizz Kids Family Ride and picnic

Hi Whizz Kids, thanks for a really special day today for our family ride and picnic at Pitsford and to our guests Lucy and Tim Smith who joined the Whizz Kids for a lap of the water and gave us all an insight into the forthcoming LEJOG Tandem ride in aid of Thomas’s funs and the very personal reasons for raising for this cause, everyone in Whizz Kids will be watching your progress with interest. We had a good turn out of yellow today and most of the riders happily rode two laps of the water, even our two youngest riders Oscar and John completed a lap and I think both rode further than they had ever ridden in one go before. Thanks to Jon for leading out the ride and keeping the faster riders in check while I made sure we didn’t lose anyone off the back along the way. We only had one mishap during the day and hopefully Nate is starting to feel a bit less sore after his “off”, well done for getting back on the bike and finishing the ride!
