A sportive that finishes in a brewery? With a free beer at the end of the ride? I must be dreaming.
But you’re not.
After a three year break, the Macmillan Harborough Sportive is back, with five stunning road and off-road routes on offer. Based at the Langton Brewery in Thorpe Langton, near Market Harborough; the date for your diary is Saturday, May 21.
Entries are open now; but you’ll need to be quick to secure your place on this highly popular event, which is organised by Welland Valley Cycling Club.
There are five rides to choose from – 100k and 65k on the road and 100k, 60k and 25k for off-road / gravel / mtb enthusiasts – taking in the stunning countryside of south Leicestershire and Rutland.
Sign-on opens at 7am, with first riders away at 8am. Full details of all the routes (plus info on catering, parking etc) – along with online entry – can be found here:
