Here’s the most important date of the year (and yes, it trumps wedding anniversaries, birthdays, bar mitzvahs and platinum jubilee stuff).
The weekend of June 25/26 is the first ever Bruntingthorpe Festival of Cycling – organised by Welland Valley CC in conjunction with partners Cox Automotive.
It’s a two-day two-wheel traffic-free extravaganza, with something for cyclists of all speeds, shapes, ages and abilities.
There’s beginners’ rides, Bikeability sessions, free bike maintenance workshops, WhizzKids events, road racing, TTs, cyclocross, picnic-ing and a whole lot more.
A full programme of events will be published in March.
But in the meantime; grab that electronic calendar (or a pen if you’re old-school) and block out the weekend of June 25/26.
You won’t want to miss the Bruntingthorpe Festival of Cycling.
