Cameron Potter took part in the Ratae RC Hill climb at the weekend and tells us about it below in this brilliant report.
“Sunday wasn’t the most ideal weather for a Launde Abbey Hill climb but after a week off the bike due to the “super cold” that I had I thought it would be a good way to end my first season racing and go and take part. It was far from ideal conditions as I set off up the short but testing climb, the climb was over before I knew it but was hindered by a back wheel spinning and slipping all over the place trying to gain grip.
After a success in the club hill climb I’m proud to say I also came up trumps in the Ratae RC Hill climb too and took the honours on the day. A good way to round off the season. Now all focus on winter training and hopefully for me and a few others some track racing too!!”
Well done Cam!
