Hi Whizz Kids, the 2019 tour continues this Saturday with the final family ride of the winter and we’re at Pitsford Reservoir (Brixworth Country Park) for the 7 mile lap of the water. Parents etc. are encouraged to ride with the Whizz Kids and the entire route is off the road. We will be rolling out at 2:00pm and the forecast is currently dry but with a bit of a breeze to contend with. Parents who choose not to ride can use the cafe facilities while we’re out and it’ll be a good place for all to recover after the ride.
The carpark is at NN6 9DG and parking is £3.00 for 4 hours, £5.00 all day. I suggest bring coins, last time I was there the card payment was a bit intermittent.
Please remember your bike and helmet, appropriate clothing and a drink for the ride. We’ll see you on Saturday.
