Combat the seasonal stuffing: Support the club’s traditional Boxing Day TT!

boxing day

Christmas is coming – and the goose / cyclist is getting a little tubby (well, who can resist a Baileys or two at this time of year?)

So there’s only one thing to do to combat the seasonal stuffing; and that’s to sign up for the club’s traditional Boxing Day TT.

We’re looking for riders and marshals to join in the festive fun on the 10 mile Kibworth course.

Race HQ is the lay-by near the antiques centre (and handily close to the cemetery), with a start time of 10am.  There will be drinks and mince pies for the riders on their return.

Fancy dress and weird and wonderful bikes are welcome, and there is going to be a prize!

However, the event can only run if we have five volunteers to marshal the traffic. So if you’d like to help and need an excuse to get away from the family, please email jon@durnin.co.uk. If you’d like to ride, just turn up in time to sign on (from 9.15 onwards).
