Set those alarm clocks and prepare for cup glory!

It’s Round Five of the Club Championship on Sunday; and time to show if you’re a man / woman or a cheese-eating rodent when it comes to a 25 mile TT.

In addition to masses of championship points on offer in both the TT and road bike categories, the Armstrong and Hunter cups are also up for grabs.

The Armstrong Cup is awarded to the fastest rider on a scratch basis.

Of more interest to TT mortals; the Hunter Cup is awarded on a handicap basis and could be won by anyone with ‘good legs’ on the day.

Race HQ is Kibworth Grammar School Hall, which will be open from 8am. First rider off is at 9am, so please be sure to register by 8.45am at the latestThe route is available here from Garmin Connect.

The weather forecast for Sunday morning is a not-too-sweaty 10 degrees C, with only a 16 per cent chance of showers and a gentle south westerly breeze.

So set those alarm clocks and prepare for cup glory.
