1100 - 1130       Sign on at Deans BC van & gazebo

1135                 Team managers & helpers briefing – we need helpers from each club please J

1140 - 1155       Walk/ride the course

1200                 Racing Starts

1200 – 1210      U6/U8 Race

1210 – 1225      U10 Race

1225 – 1245      U12/14 Race

1245 – 1300      mixed relay

1300                 Finish & presentation

Please pass the following onto your riders:

  • All riders need to be a member of a Go Ride registered club and will need to show their BC membership/license at sign on. No license/membership, no race
  • The racing is free of charge.
  • Gear restrictions apply  - attached document
  • Parental Consent form to be fully completed (PLEASE!) for all riders  - attached
  • Car Parking – please see note below from race organiser Jenny Gretton

    Please find attached FYI a copy of the Castle Classic event manual and a parking pass.  Please show a copy of the parking pass – either printed out or on your phone to the Traffic Management Stewards who will be managing the road closure at the Aylestone Road/Raw Dykes Road junction where you will arrive to access the King Power Stadium.  You can also share this pass with your Club contacts, to enable them to access the rear of the stadium – they will need to follow the car park around to the area I have marked on the event manual as the ‘main rider area’ as the other parking bays are set aside for Teams etc.
